360° around view 3D camera
The system uses four digital cameras to display Clio‘s environment in real time on the central screen. The result: a complete 360° view, allowing you to spot obstacles otherwise invisible from the passenger compartment, for easier manoeuvering and parking.

The system indicates in real time the proximity of any obstacles behind the vehicle with variable-frequency audible and visual signals, which become continuous when the obstacle is less than 30 cm away.

A dashboard alert makes maneuvering easier by warning of the presence of an unseen obstacle at the rear corner.

The system identifies potential obstacles and automatically stops Clio in the event of a collision.

The power steering system automatically regulates speed, maintains safe distances and keeps Clio centered in its lane. In slow traffic, the Stop & Go mode automatically manages stopping and restarting for smooth, effortless driving.

adaptive cruise control
Automatically adjusts your speed according to traffic and driving preferences. It slows down or accelerates to maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead. Braking is activated automatically if the safety distance is too short.
intelligent adaptive cruise control
Continuously analyses traffic conditions with its connected mapping and traffic sign reading. It automatically adjusts speed to maintain safe distances, adapt speed to regulatory limits, and react to road contours (bends,roundabouts, etc.).
predictive hybrid driving
Continuously analyses your journey and anticipates the most suitable driving mode to optimise performance, fuel consumption and driving range.
hill start assist
On gradients in excess of 3%, the system automatically maintains braking for 2 seconds. This leaves time to accelerate smoothly, without the risk of Renault Clio backing up.
distance warning
Calculates safe driving distances from the vehicle ahead and triggers an audible and visual alert if the distance is too short.
automatic high/low beam
Detects variations in light levels through a camera integrated into the top of the windscreen, and automatically switches between low and high beam. Visibility is always adequate, with no risk of dazzling other drivers.

A visual and audible alert is triggered if a vehicle suddenly approaches, making it safer to open the doors when stationary.

Identifies speed limit signs on your route and uses connected mapping to inform you, via the dashboard, of the speed limit.
intersection automatic emergency braking system
Designed to avoid head-on collisions during left-hand turns, it works in three stages: visual or audible warning of a risky trajectory; reinforced braking if the driver's reaction is insufficient; automatic braking if there is no reaction.
lane departure warning
Detects if the vehicle unintentionally crosses a continuous or broken lane marking. The system notifies you through vibrations in the steering wheel, prompting you to adjust your course.
lane keeping assist
From 65 km/h, the system detects any attempt to unintentionally cross a solid or broken line, without activating the turn signal. It then makes a slight correction in the steering wheel, automatically bringing the vehicle back into its lane.
front detection with emergency trajectory correction
If the vehicle crosses a solid or broken line, the system warns the driver by vibrating the steering wheel, and automatically corrects the trajectory if there is a risk of collision with an oncoming vehicle.
rear detection with emergency trajectory correction
The system monitors rear angles to detect any dangerous overtaking or approaching from adjacent lanes. In the event of a collision, you are warned by an audible or visual alarm. If necessary, the trajectory is automatically corrected to avoid any impact.
automatic emergency braking system
Identifies vehicles, cyclists or pedestrians suddenly approaching from the front or sides of Clio. If a risk of collision is detected, the system automatically initiates partial or total braking.
advanced driver monitoring system
Renault Clio monitors driver fatigue or inattention signals using an interior camera. In the event of reduced alertness, it issues an alert to invite you to take a break and ensure safer driving.
emergency stop assistant
The system complements active driver assist, slowing the vehicle until it stops in its lane (if possible) in the event of driver inactivity (failure to detect hands on the wheel).
